The Kenkatha cattle are a draught strain of cattle native to India. It originated in the Bundelkhand provinces in Uttar Pradesh state over the banks of river Ken and Vindhyas hilly range in Madhya Pradesh.

Presently the strain is distributed in Lalitpur, Hamirpur, Chitrakoot, and Banda districts of Uttar Pradesh state and Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh state.

The Kenkatha cows can also be known as Kenwariya. They receive their name in the River Ken because they’re bred across the banks of the little river.
