The Limia cattle is a strain of domestic cattle used mainly for milk and meat production.
It is a cows breed in the Province of Ourense in Galicia in northwest Spain, which looks like the extinct aurochs.
A few other names like Spanish Limiana also know the Limia cows or at Galician Raza Limiá.
Limia cattle breed information
The Limia cattle are large creatures. The strain is type in coloration.
The cows are brown, darker on the head, neck and legs (like other crazy kind colored cows). And the bulls have a darker colored coat compared to the cows, ranging from dark brown to stripe and sometimes a saddle.
Both bulls and cows discuss a gently mouth. And bulls and cows are usually horned.
Height at the withers is 148 cm for bulls, and 140 cm for cows.
The bulls on the normal bodyweight of the bulls are about 900kg and cows about 650 kg.

Total inhabitants of this cattle breed has been 136 creatures based on a studbook with high reliability in the entire year of 2002.
The amount of breeding cows was 66, along with also the amount of bulls used in reproduction was 59.
The proportion of cows consumed pure was 100 percent. That implies , the cows were inoculated using a bull of the same race.
Population of these Limia cattle is increasing slowly. There were 861 creatures in 2001, and 460 creatures in 2007.
